What's happening at Northgate?
Young Voices 2026
On Tuesday, 30 children and 4 members of staff joined a choir of almost 9000 children from around the country at the Young Voices concert at the O2 in London.
We have been practising the songs since September and the huge choir sounded amazing!
Well done to all the children involved. They were fantastic ambassadors for Northgate Primary School.
Thank you to everyone who wore pyjamas and donated to Children in Need today! We raised an incredible £475.50!!
Thank you to all our families who made food, came to share or dressed up for our International Lunch today! It’s always a lovely occasion to show off our multi-cultural community here at Northgate - and eat delicious food!

Reception took a trip to Tilgate Nature Park and attended a workshop on minibeasts!
Y1 took a trip to Ferring Beach to support their learning of the seaside!
The children took part in a sponsored obstacle course this week to raise money for our PTFA to buy new playground equipment - thank you for all your donations we've raised over £2300!
Yesterday Year 4 children and staff went to St. Francis of Assisi school for the Big Sing. The children have spent 5 weeks learning 2 mass songs which they sang with the 3 other schools there and they also sang their own song as a school, "Blackbird" by Lennon and McCartney. There were over 300 children taking part.
The children's behaviour was exemplary and so was their singing. They sounded beautiful!
Mrs Stringer would like to thank all the staff who accompanied the children and a huge thank you to the children for being amazing!
