In our efforts to encourage positive behaviour and celebrate our achievers, Mrs Roughton and Mr Blakeman are holding weekly biscuits and squash for the children who have been awarded the Northgate Award!

Year 3 had a wonderful visit to Highdown Gradens, a hidden gem in Sussex. They learned about chalk based land and the unique plants that grow there, drew some plants and walked to the top of Highdown Hill. From the top we could see the sea and the Isle of Wight to our right, then the white cliffs of Birling Gap to our left. Upon the hill were significant areas of the past with fascinating stories of the past including John Oliver, a miller but also a smuggler!

The children had three workshops on WW2 and learnt about the role Crawley played in it.

The Y6 children said their final goodbyes today and enjoyed a trip to Hollywood Bowl Crawley!

We want to wish all the children a happy transition into their new secondary schools- we know you will smash it and go on to do amazing things! Don't forget to visit!

Y6 had a lovely leavers picnic this afternoon! The children then got to go round and sign each others shirts. Y6 will also be going bowling tomorrow at Hollywood Bowl so make sure they are in school on time!

Y6 enjoyed their Inflatable Day yesterday! The children got to have fun on a bouncy assault course, giant slide and football shoot out! The children got to blow off some steam and enjoy themselves for their last week at Northgate!

Y2 enjoyed a trip to Crawley Library and Memorial Gardens today! The children had a great time - despite the weather! For some children this will be their first trip to a library and getting to explore the shelves of different books. The children then went to explore the Memorial Gardens and play park to blow off a bit of steam after having to be so quiet!
