We welcomed Crawley Library into our school yesterday to introduce the Summer Reading Challenge for 2024. The children were so excited to hear all about the amazing books they can read over the Summer Holidays and how they can get involved. Crawley Library are looking forward to welcoming as many of you as possible! Let's get reading!
The children in Nursery enjoyed their sports afternoon in the sunshine on Thursday. They completed lots of races before enjoying a refreshing icepop with their friends.
What a wonderful day we had on 6th June, recognising and celebrating empathy as our new school value.
The children enjoyed learning about empathy in class and also sharing stories about empathy with other children from across the school.
Play Rangers are go! Mrs Hollands and Mrs Clark have been busy training the Rangers up and they have enjoyed supporting the other children during playtimes this week. These student leaders are really excited about their new role.
The children in Reception have been learning the story of The 3 Little Pigs in class. They have enjoyed building their own houses and retelling the story in their writing.

As part of Year 3's Egyptian learning, we have been writing a diary entry from the perspective of Howard Carter when he discovers Tutankhamun tomb.
Year 4 brought their learning from their mountains and rivers topic to create some brilliant topography models. The children accompanied their models with labels and then presented their understanding to the group, showcasing their broad knowledge.
Year 4 consolidated our Mayan learning with the help of Robbie from 'Past Productions Theatre'. We had a fantastic day, filled with engaging and purposeful learning opportunities.
