It was lovely to welcome so many parents into school today for the Year 1 poetry performance. The children were superb: individual pupils welcomed the parents and explained their learning and the whole year group performed their poetry perfectly!
After learning all about how the pawns and rooks move, we had some friendly matches to help hone our skills.
In our efforts to encourage positive behaviour and celebrate our achievers, Mrs Roughton and Mr Blakeman are holding weekly biscuits and squash for the children who have been awarded the Northgate Award!
Here are some photos of previous weeks' winners of the Northgate Award! Keep updated with our school newsletter to see who else will feature.
The children had three workshops on WW2 and learnt about the role Crawley played in it.
We will be holding Open Days for school applications for New Reception 2024 on:
Thursday 2nd November - AM
Tuesday 7th November - PM
If you would like to come along, please email the school office:
On Tuesday, 15 children from year 3 visited the town hall to view the Unity pledge. The Unity pledge celebrates the diversity and inclusivity of Crawley. The children got to view the pledge and hear about why it is so important, visit the mayor's parlour and even got a biscuit and some juice! They were beautifully behaved and were great ambassadors for Northgate Primary School.
