Important!

It is your responsibility to make sure you have applied for a school place for your child. You Must apply online via the link above through West Sussex as they allocate spaces from Reception to Year 6. 

Please make sure that you apply by the deadline to avoid not getting your preferred school space.

Please note that a place in Northgate Nursery DOES NOT guarantee your child a space in Northgate Primary School.

Applications will close on 15 January 2026

Information from the West Sussex  website: 

Applications received before 11.59 pm on 12 January 2026

• If you applied online West Sussex will email you the outcome of your application 16th April 2026. Emails will be sent throughout the day so we can't give you an exact time.
• If you applied by paper form you will be emailed the result later this day if an email address was provided with the application. The admissions office will contact you to request an email address if one is not specified on the form.
• If you do not have an email address you will receive a letter by second class post.

Once you have been allocated a space with us

West Sussex will contact us directly with a list of applicants coming to Northgate Primary school. We will use the details that you have provided them to contact you in order to begin the admissions process. 

Our Admissions Officer, Miss Saleem will email all parents/ carers to collect an acceptance form. You will be asked to provide copies of your child's passport and birth certificate, and your council tax statement for April 2026/ 2027.

It is essential that you provide us with all forms and documents requested as this may affect your child's place with us. 

We cannot accept any forms without the requested documents

The deadline to hand in acceptance forms, along with the requested documents is Thursday 30th April 2026

Once the acceptance form has been completed and handed in, you will then be required to fill in enrolment forms. These MUST be completed and handed in to the school office BEFORE the deadline.

The deadline to hand in ALL FORMS is Friday 3rd July 2026 at the absolute latest.
