As part of Year 3 geography, the children visited Northgate Play Park and looked at planning routes, drawing maps and the local community and the facilities we have around us - plus a quick run around! 

The children made it to The 02 safely for Young Voices 2023!

We want to make a special mention to Eloise this week! Eloise asked to go litter picking, as she takes her role of eco- warrior on the eco-council very seriously! 

Eloise also asked her mum to email Crawley Borough Council regarding the fly-tipped bags of rubbish in the bushes by the coach drop off area.

Mum got her some gloves, hi vis, and litter picker and off they went.

Well done Eloise for looking out for our community! 

Parent Pay has gone live from today for our school so you can start ordering meals commencing 20th February 2023.

Activation codes on how to set up your child's account will come home with your child today. You will not be able to set up the account without this code.

Once your account is set up, you will see how to select your meal preference for your child on that day.

KS1 and FSM children will need to place their orders for their meals but will not need to pay.

Y5 had a visit from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Services this week. The kind crew were still on call but came in the rain to talk to our Y5's about the importance of fire safety, what to do if they see a fire and act out different scenarios. The children then got to go outside and fire the hose from the firetruck! Unfortunately they got a call during this session which meant a speedy getaway but we thank them for their visit and hope to see them back soon in the summer term.

Northgate Primary School has joined the Recycle to Read Challenge where we can receive books for our school libraries through recycling unwanted items. We are starting with BATTERIES.
We will be collecting used batteries as part of the Recycle to read challenge.
Please bring any unwanted batteries in a plastic bag/carrier bag and give them to your class Eco councillor.
