Within our English learning, we offer children an opportunity to not only write for a range of audiences and purposes but we also recognise the importance of embedding hands-on speaking and listening activities into our lessons. Children will be encouraged to rehearse sentences, themes or structures aurally and use the concrete resources such as word banks or whiteboards available to them within each Year 4 classroom.
