We truly value a hands-on approach to enriching our maths learning. We believe that all children can access learning opportunities and will encourage our learners to use manipulative resources to consolidate their understanding. Take a look at some of the lovely learning that takes place within our year group.

From the beginning of Year 4, in preparation for the Statutory Multiplication Check which takes place in June, all Year 4 classes have dedicated time within the Computer Suite to practise their times tables. Children's scores on TT Rockstars are analysed and then each child is given the opportunity to practise the ones they are still finding tricky. Thanks to Mr Auston, we also engage in healthy TT Rockstars competitions across year groups, where the winners are awarded with certificates in achievement assemblies.
