PTFA
Who are we?
All parents / carers and teachers at Northgate Primary are members of the PTFA automatically; how involved you are is completely up to you.
What do we do?
We organize events for the school, some to raise money and some just for fun.
Past events have included:
- School discos
- Summer fetes
- Christmas fairs
- Easter egg hunts
What do we raise money for?
We help to improve the school, paying for extras that the school budget might not otherwise allow. In the past, we have helped to fund:
- The pond and allotments
- The playground sports markings
- Playground equipment
How can I help?
We always need people to help us organize events, with planning and preparation to running a stall at an event, or helping set up or clearing away. Even half an hour of your time would help us greatly and would be much appreciated.
So, is there a committee?
We have a Chair, a Treasurer and a Secretary as well as a Vice Chair, Vice Treasurer and a Vice Secretary. If you would be interested in any of these roles, please contact us to see if we have any spaces or to find out when the next elections will be. We also have general committee members.
We hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) every October when the committee is elected.
How do I contact the PTFA?
You can email us at ptfa@northgate.w-sussex.sch.uk or leave us a message on our Facebook page. We always welcome new members and are open to fresh and fun fundraising ideas.
