Learning Council
Learning Council
The Learning Council were appointed on Democracy Day in the autumn term to support Mrs Harrison and the leadership team to further improve the learning opportunities at NGPS. This is a new council for the school and the children were keen to share their ideas about how to further develop our learning to help every individual thrive and be successful.
The first job of the council was to agree a new school charter of expectations to help everyone be ready to learn. The council members worked with their classes to agree expectations which they felt were important to our school. The top 20 expectations were chosen by the council and then each class, including staff members, got to vote on their top 5. It was really important to allow everyone to share their views.
