The School Council's aim is to make the school a better place for everyone and is considered to be an important part of the school community. School Council representatives are elected as part of Democracy Day in the Autumn Term.
The elected members meet with their class to discuss key points and listen to the views of their peers. Within School Council meetings, we listen to these ideas and make decisions based on the viewpoints of the whole school.
They also work to raise money and awareness for different issues: within the school, at a local level, nationally and internationally.
They organise events and fundraisers that enable us to broaden pupils' and parents' understanding and to create funds for these worthwhile causes.
