Year 2 have had a visit from the West Sussex Fire and Rescue Services for their Topic 'People Who Help Us'.

The children were given a show of the fire engine and got to see the fire hose in action! 

The children also had a talk from the fire crew about their equipment, the role of a fire-fighter, hazards including Matches and Lighters, the role of the smoke alarm and what to do in the event of a fire;  ‘Get out. stay out, call 999’.
