If your child is turning 3 years old before the 31st August, please contact the school office for a Nursery Application Form. 

 

We have morning and afternoon spaces available, we accept 30 hours funding or you can use 15 free hours and pay to extend your day.

Reading for pleasure has been a sanctuary for many throughout the lockdown. Almost two thirds of children say that reading helped them feel better and half say that it has encouraged them to dream about the future. As such, we are planning to renovate our libraries to make them the calming, comforting and inspiring spaces they have the potential to be, benefiting the children of our community now and for generations to come.

 

But this is no small feat! To achieve this goal, we are looking for donors and sponsors to help us raise the £20,000 required. If you know of a charity, business or other organisation who may be interested in supporting a charitable cause, please encourage them to reach out to us at fundraising@northgate.w-sussex.sch.uk. Our 4 most generous sponsors will be honoured with a recognition plaque in pride of place in the library of their choice, and be provided with advertising space free of charge in our school magazine.

The children have all dressed up in something red, wearing their noses and had a fun afternoon of activities for Comic Relief. 

 

Thanks to all your amazing donations we have raised an incredible £464.51! 

 

 

We are extremely excited to show our IT suite has had a makeover! With brand new equipment, flooring and a lick of fresh new paint the suite is ready for the children to start learning. 

Our eggs have been hatching away for the past couple of days and we now have 9 baby chicks freshly hatched. 

Once the chicks are old enough they will be moved to their new enclosure to grow and this is when the children will be able to hold them!

Times Table Rock Stars - Competition!

 

The Maths Team at Northgate Primary are launching their TTRS Competition where the Top Ten users across the school will win themselves a certificate at the end of each week! 

 

The children will be coming home with the logins today so get logging on and become the ultimate Times Table Rock Stars! 

It has been lovely having all the children back to school, they have settled in brilliantly and have enjoyed seeing all their friends once again!

Thank you for all the children and staff at home and at school for making such a tremendous effort to dress up as their favourite book characters for World Book Day! 

 

The children got to enjoy the 'Masked Reader' to guess which mystery staff member read them their favourite book and lots more fun reading activities over the day.
