  • Y5 West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service Visit

    Thu 30 Jun 2022

Y5 had a visit from the West Sussex Fire and Rescue team yesterday and they had a blast! They got to see the fire engine and learn all about the role of a fire fighter. The children were also told the importance of fire safety in the home and what to look for.

Did you know you can get a free fire alarm fitted by booking a fire service visit?

The alarms are free, all you have to do is complete the 'safe and well visit' questionnaire:

    Fri 24 Jun 2022

Thank you to all the children, staff and families that wore red on Friday 24th June to raise money for a school defibrillator. We received an incredible amount of donations - some giving more than the suggested donation of £1.00! As you know this could make such a difference in saving a life on school property.

We are still counting money but will let you know the amount raise in our school newsletter at the end of the week!

  • Y5 Cricket!

    Thu 23 Jun 2022

The year 5 girls cricket team are through to the count finals after winning all their games in the Crawley schools games competition on Thursday.  They have all only just started playing this year after playing in PE.  They have grown both in confidence and skill and should be very proud of themselves as they are also playing a year young as their opponents have included year 6s.  They will be representing the school on Wednesday 6th July against the winning schools from each area of Sussex.  We wish them the best of luck.
