School Games Impact Awards: Shortlisted for Opportunity Supporters Impact Award

We are very excited to have been shortlisted for the above award, which highlights our dedication and success in providing competitions and festivals for all, as they progress through the school.  This would not have been possible without the organisational skills of Miss A Hewitt and the hours she spends writing letters, organising the children, collecting kit and making sure everyone can get to their competition.  So far, this academic year, we have attended over 35 competitions (100% of the School Games events on offer) giving over 300 children the opportunity to compete for the school.  Check out our website for some of our team photos from this year!  Sporting Events - Northgate Primary School

    Thu 10 Mar 2022

Y3 took a trip to The Boulevard in Crawley!

In Geography, Y3 are learning about Crawley and the history of the town. They are also looking at the continued development of Crawley and the designs in place to improve the town.

Y3 spoke to the contractors about the work they do and have been given the opportunity to design a feature for the middle of the roundabout! If their design is chosen it will feature on the new roundabout alongside the pollinated highway!

  • Eat Them to Defeat Them!

    Tue 08 Mar 2022

    Email from a parent:

''The office very kindly let me have another pack for my child as she took a shine to her brother's pack and she won’t eat fruit or veg for love nor money so was keen to jump on her enthusiasm for this.

Yaseen got really involved and disappeared upstairs to get ready to battle the veg when he emerged wearing “camouflage” and a “helmet” I wasn’t quite sure what to say but Milo followed suit and she was soon eating /trying carrot, peas and green beans.

The stickers are a incentive although I must say Yaseen is usually great with his fruit and veg but for Milo I’m hoping this will work wonders especially as she’s on the road to school getting ready for September.''

This is amazing! Please let us know if any of your children 'Eat them to defeat them!' If they do please send us photos at office@northgate.w-sussex.sch.uk

    This weeks vegetable is... peppers!
