The children in Y1 and Y2 took part in a talk to learn about different animals and invertebrates to incorporate with their topic of different animals, how they live and hunt in different ways.  

Tom’s Talking Reptiles run workshops where the children will get the opportunity to see up close and hold various reptiles including snakes, frogs, iguanas and more!

Eat Them to Defeat Them is the award winning campaign to get kids eating more vegetables!

We are sending a mission pack home for your child. The pack is full of information about how to Eat Them to Defeat them! There is a sticker chart and every time your child eats a vegetable (or fruit!) you can add a sticker to the chart!

Mr Tree has been enjoying his sabatical - and we have been enjoying tracking his journey!

So far Mr Tree has been to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji! Currently, Mr Tree has just flown to Manilla in the Phillipines!

The children in KS2 had a wonderful visit from the author SF Said yesterday. They all loved hearing about his journey to becoming an author and were surprised to find out how long each book takes him to write. He spoke to the children about resilience and how, even though he received 90 rejections, he never gave up on his dream of becoming a published author. The children also loved sharing their favourite books with him and hearing about the books that made SF want to become a writer.  It was a wonderful afternoon all about reading for pleasure and pursuing your dreams!!
